​Pastor Carol Threatt began her public ministry beside her husband, as they established Christian Faith Assembly in January of 1989. She became a licensed minister of the Gospel in 1991 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry from Master’s Divinity School.
Together, Pastors Leon and Carol Threatt minister the Word of God by the power and leading of the Holy Spirit. Many lives have been transformed, as these anointed vessels of God have allowed the Lord to use them for His Glory and for His Honor. Their heart desire is to glorify the Lord with their faithful obedience and to fulfill the destiny that is upon their lives.
Pastors Leon and Carol Threatt were married in March of 1982 and are blessed with three beautiful children: Emmanuel and his wife, Adrienne, Andrea and Jakayla. She also is blessed to have 2 grandchildren, Harmony and Emmanuel II (EJ) as well as a host of spiritual children, family, and friends.
​Dr. Leon Threatt is a man after God's own heart. He was born in Monroe, North Carolina and later grew up and graduated high school in the city of Greensboro, North Carolina.
Shortly after graduating high school, he began his professional career in the United States Marine Corps where he served for ten years. Subsequently, he joined the Charlotte Police Department in 1987 where he served until June, 1996.

Dr. Threatt is a graduate of International Bible Seminary and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology. He also holds a Masters Degree in Ministry and a Doctorate of Practical Theology from Master’s School of Divinity. He began his public ministry evangelizing the lost and preaching the uncompromising Word of God in March of 1982 on the streets of Okinawa, Japan; Oceanside, CA. and Jacksonville, N.C.
Pastor Carol Threatt is a woman of divine virtue and a pearl of great price. She was born and raised in Anson County, North Carolina and graduated high school in Wadesboro, North Carolina. She attended Central Piedmont Community College and holds a Certification of Cardiac Technology. Subsequently, she began her professional career in nursing, where she served in that field for ten years. Pastor Carol has also enjoyed a ten-year teaching career working with kindergarten-aged children.
